Found hosts pleasant and accommodating. Instructed to take our shoes off at front door, however flooring was worn, marked, and in need of replacing. There was a step down into bathroom entrance without warning, and I fell to the floor as a result, as I completely lost Mt footing. Step also slightly damaged, and bathroom floor around toilet quite dusty, and Rug in the bedroom dirty, and in need of replacement. Location ideal for the Town Centre, and all else fine. These minor issues did not spoil our stay, despite my fall, but there really should be a sign, warning of the step down, as the light pull cord is inside the bathroom, so entry into the bathroom is very dark, and I'm sure I am not the first person to fall when entering bathroom. All else fine, and we probably would return again.

Lots of good points but some minor bad points. Clean comfy beds with new mattresses & bedding however down stairs bed was damp. House well stocked with everything you’d need & more. Dining room fridge had dreadful smell. Generally needed a good hoover, especially rugs. Great location for concert at cricket ground. In fairness we didn’t report the minor issues so didn’t give them chance to put right, only because we were short on time. I’m sure host would have been helpful if we’d have reported the damp bed.
