Everything was just about perfect. We were very happy with our stay. Small detail, but there was no toilet paper, which is odd from my experience, but necessitated a trip back out to the grocery store a half hour away. No problem though, mistakes happen. The backyard is a place to relax, but there is little room for kids to roam around. If you want that, find a place off of the water. The host is super responsive and helpful. My best host experience yet with air bnb.

I am grateful to have found this gem. I booked this place for a work trip and added a couple of extra days to spend Easter weekend down here with my family. We had an incredible stay. Everything was clean and looked like the photos. The view was incredible and the best part of the house is the comfortable porch swing overlooking the lake. I would definitely stay here again.

Very nice home, comfortable, clean, and well kept. Beautiful lake views and shaded porch with the famous swing. Lots of parking. Super responsive and helpful host. Good deep water for swimming right off the dock, but definitely explore the lake by boat. Lake of Egypt is a fun, warm lake with numerous quiet coves for bobbing about with regular sightings of eagles and osprey and deer, especially down in the national forest section. Note water skiing is only in the northwest wide section, which is not far away. We thoroughly enjoyed this home and the lake, and the host is super.

Beautiful lake house with lots of amenities. Host was very helpful with any questions we had. Perfect place for our family.

My friends and I enjoyed a relaxing and fun weekend at the lake! JR’s place had everything you need for a great time at the lake and he was super communicative.
