Enjoyed our 3 week stay at Stumphole Landing. My husband fishes, so he enjoyed exploring Lake Marion. I ride bikes and traffic was light enough I could ride out to Santee State Park and explore the neighborhoods. Pleasantly surprised by Elloree. It's a quaint town only 10 minutes by car (25 by bike), with a number of antique/thrift stores and an artist co-op. The local grocery store, IGA was a hoot to shop at. It's a fishing/camping area so it's very quiet and rustic. We enjoyed a couple dinners at Stumphole Landing Campground. The house has on-demand water, so we had to be patient since we were there went the temp went down to the 30's at night. The queen bed is a water bed, that took some getting used to ;-) The living area/porch at the house are spacious and comfortable. The home was upkept and clean. The backyard and side yard is wooded so it was very quiet. Beautiful view of the lake from the living room and porch. Fit our needs perfectly.

We enjoyed this clean and comfortable home forty minutes to Congaree National Park. Lots of charming touches and well equipped kitchen.
