We had such a great time in Rick’s beautiful home! The views and location were outstanding and the house had everything we could possibly need. The beds were so comfy and we loved cooking in the kitchen that overlooked the water. We hope to return again soon!!

Huge place with room for several families and lots of space to hang out. Location is amazing with water on three sides. Also only a five minute walk to a small general store and seafood shack, and only a 15 minute drive to a large grocery store. We went out on the kayak and paddleboards about half the days we were there - easy to get out from the dock even at low tide. Indoor fireplace was great for the few rainy/cool afternoons. Fully equipped kitchen. First floor bedroom was great for the grandparents. The upstairs queen and king mattresses were too firm for our group, but it's hard to accommodate everyone. Lots of artwork and collected objects all around! Would not come here with little ones, but it was fine for the 10-12 year olds in our group. Host was very helpful and responsive.

We had such a wonderful Christmas Vacation in Maine this year and this house was perfect for our stay! The house has a gourmet kitchen with every kind of gadget you need to make whatever you want. This was important to us as we wanted to make a traditional Christmas Eve dinner, which was a big hit with everyone. There was plenty of space and beds for all and it is located in a secluded, beautiful area right on the water. My family voted the wood burning fireplace as the best feature and since it is winter and we did get some snow - we used it every night! Knowing that Maine is notorious for summer homes and get-a-ways, I worried a little bit that perhaps this was not the place to be in the winter. However, on the contrary. There was plenty to see and do. We did a lot of shopping, ate at some great seafood restaurants, went snowmobiling, went tubing at Sunday River ski resort, and some days we just relaxed and/or went to the movies. The house is decorated beautifully and there are a lot of interesting books and magazines around to read. I thoroughly enjoyed this vacation - much of which had to do with the house. Thank you Rick for letting us stay and for creating such a lovely and welcoming home!
