Used Ralphs place as a stop-over en-route from Lincolnshire to Glasgow. The accommodation is small but has everything you need. Comfortable, warm, well serviced and clean. Check in was easy and communication was very good. Would be happy to stay again.

Excellent property and host, can’t fault it at all, easy access to local attractions and amenities. Drumlanrig and Crawick Multiverse definitely worth a visit. The Buccleuch and Queensberry Arms Hotel was fantastic for food, we had 2 excellent meals there and the service was second to none. Would definitely recommend.

We enjoyed staying somewhere that was close to Dumfries and surrounding areas, so the property was good for this. Inside was lovely and cosy, however, we thought the garden to be not very safe for our dog, it was very overgrown and the gate leading out of the property wouldn't shut, which wasn't ideal.

Second stay for us and absolutely brilliant once again! Couldn’t recommend this place enough for location and value. Feels like you are staying in a very posh hotel suite, but with the flexibility and independence of your own front door. Cannot thank the host enough for the information prior to stay and the check ins to make sure we had everything we needed. More than 5 stars! ⭐️
