We needed to stay in the area at very short notice and were extremely lucky to find this superb barn conversion. Nicola and Peter were perfect hosts - we will definitely stay again.

What an amazing place to stay! My partner, my dog and I had the BEST New Year’s Eve break at the Cart Barn. Nicola and Peter are amazing hosts, happy to answer any questions you have - nothing is too much trouble. Inside the barn it is beautifully decorated and furnished and it has everything you need, from cooking utensils to toiletries and maps of the local area. You are surrounded by gorgeous fields and wildlife, there are multiple walking trails in each direction and you are right on the edge of Ashdown Forest. The area is really peaceful and quiet, perfect for an enjoyable and relaxing stay. There are 2 pubs close by, both in walking distance through fields and woodlands, that serve delicious food and drinks too. We are already planning our return and have recommended the Cart Barn to friends and family. Thank you for an amazing stay!

This is an absolutely lovely place to spend a weekend (or longer)! The space is bright, airy and perfectly equipped. The bed is super comfy and huge, and the kitchen has everything you need to cook if you want to do so. One of the nicest dog-friendly places we’ve ever stayed with an enclosed orchard just behind the barn. Shower is amazing and plenty of space to eat and relax with the Smart TV. Highly recommend this place to stay.

Lovely place to stay. Very well equipped, beautifully designed, spacious and clean. Huge comfy bed and great bathroom and kitchen. Access to the pool was much appreciated. Friendly and responsive hosts! Thank you.
