Place was good to stay but had to check out after two nights because host wants us to checkout because of safety measures and technical issues with property. Experience was not that great

The basement suite was not cleaned when we showed up at our check in time. We were unable to check in before our event as the cleaners asked for more time. The host messaged awhile after and said they would expedite the cleaning. When we checked in after our event and they had completed the cleaning we found the bathroom floors were quite dirty and the suite had not been vacuumed. The people staying in the upstairs were quite loud so we didn’t sleep well. The yard had not been taken care of, the grass was quite long so we couldn’t sit outside and enjoy the space. There was also a large amount of garbage piled outside at the entrance. Overall, I think the cleaning fee is expensive considering the space wasn’t that clean. Location was great as we had a wedding to attend in the area. Lots of places around to grab brunch and coffee! Overall it worked for our short visit but we would likely not book again.

Unfortunately we had to cancel our trip due to wildfires and provincial travel restrictons. Our host was sympathetic and understanding, a great response considering the situation. Will definitely book here again.
