Once inside this cosy Yorkshire stone cottage featuring two sitting rooms; one with a multi fuel stove and the other with an open-fire, you will instantly feel at home. Step through into the charming kitchen with traditional flagstone flooring and a dining table seating six guests. Both of the light and airy bedrooms on the first floor offer a home from home feel with access to the family bathroom across the spacious landing, the perfect spot for reading in peace and quiet. To the rear of the cottage there is a small seating area which makes a perfect place for a glass of wine or morning coffee whilst soaking in the views across to the far side of Wensleydale towards Hardraw, home to the famous Hardraw Force waterfall, England's highest waterfall. Visit Wensleydale Creamery, a stones throw away from the cottage, surrounded by breathtaking scenery for those that enjoy nothing better than walking or cycling. This is a perfect hideaway for family or friends to catch up and take in the fresh clean air of the North Yorkshire Dales whilst escaping from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Additional Information: An initial supply of coal for the first night is supplied. Two well-behaved dogs welcome (small additional charge). A high chair, stair gate and travel cot are provided at the property. Please bring your own cot linen. There is CCTV at the property.
Situated in the bustling small market town of Hawes (market day Tuesday) in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, an excellent base for exploring the area. Hawes has a number of independent shops, pubs and cafes offering excellent local produce; The White Hart for a refined bar meal or Cafe Curva for a cup of Yorkshire Tea and homemade cake.
The Dales Countryside Museum is an enjoyable look into times gone by.
The Wensleydale Creamery, home of Wensleydale cheese provides an insight into how this famous cheese is made; and you can have a taste too!
There are many excellent walking routes close by, none more challenging than the Yorkshire Three Peaks, Pen -Y- Ghent, Ingleborough and Whernside, with spectacular of views of the rugged dales landscape. If you are not so adventurous Ingleton Waterfalls Trail shares its own delights.

Take a drive into Swaledale over The Buttertubs Pass through traditional heather moorland with some of the finest views around.
