I stayed for a month. Kathy frequently checked on me to ensure my needs were met. Beds were comfortable and place was warm. Well stocked kitchen. Great value for the price. She makes excellent chili too! Thanks so much for your hospitality Kathy. Look forward to seeing you around town!

Kathy has worked hard to make a pleasant living space in the basement of her home. It warmed up quickly with a few space heaters. Our dogs enjoyed snooping around the secure dog run. OTOH, the bathroom has a hurried look, but totally functional. If you're OK with a slightly worn and dated decor, this is a great base to explore Ely.

Very close to the historic downtown, a beautiful park nearby as well. We stayed as a family (4) with our dog. Stay was comfortable and Kathy was very helpful.
