The Schellraiser music festival's 314'ers are 20-foot diameter Lotus Belle-brand canvas bell tents with solar power that have a whopping 314 square feet of living space. Each 314'er is furnished with a king-size bed, an Avocado-brand organic mattress, loveseats, barrel chairs, end tables with charging ports for devices, floor and table lamps, rugs and jute mats. Warm bedding and towels are also provided. One or two twin-size beds may be added with at least 24 hours advance notice. Our 80-acre private campground is the home base of the annual Schellraiser micro-fest, which brings bands like Ladytron, Mercury Rev, Blonde Redhead, Asleep At The Wheel, The Joy Formidable, Blitzen Trapper, Murder By Death, Old 97's, Houndmouth and BRONCHO to the nearby McGill Pool Park each June. We're also home to the region's largest collection of original artwork by painter Steve Keene.

It was really cold so glad we brought extra blankets! And maybe reflectors off the highway, really hard to see the turn at night. It was a fun place!

Schellraiser is just minutes away from Basset Lake and the High Schells and Bristlecone wilderness areas, and it's within an hour's drive of Nevada's wildest mountain and desert scenery.
High peaks, evergreen forests, rugged canyons, wild rock formations, natural hot springs and ghost towns are all around us, and the surrounding area is teeming with wildlife, including the state's largest elk herd.
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:
Our off-grid campground is in a very rural setting in an extremely remote part of Nevada, and lacks many creature comforts that some past guests have expected.
Schellraiser was, above all else, designed for guests who share our love of the untamed and wild outdoors, and enjoy getting away from the distractions of modern life for a night or two.
If you're coming from an urban or suburban community, please keep in mind that life here is very, very different.
Coyotes (harmless to humans) may howl in the distance at night, and cows may moo. Bugs (especially beautiful sphinx moths and other important pollinators) are commonplace during wet years, and there is no way of getting rid of every last one -- even if we wanted to, which we most certainly do not.
Tesla drivers: Keep out. Seriously! Our campground is in a very rural and remote part of Eastern Nevada, and you will need a reliable car with adequate clearance to travel down dirt and gravel roads.
