Probably one of the nicest places I’ve stayed in! It was decorated really nicely, had everything I needed, she even provided so many different snacks it was amazing!! The bed linens were so soft and cozy and the bed was very comfortable. Chris was an amazing host. So kind and communicative. She was super flexible with the checkin time so my granddaughter didn’t miss her nap and when I checked out I dropped my car key fob and she went out looking for it and dropped it in the mail!! I would absolutely love to stay there again when I’m back in town.

El Nido (the Nest) was an absolute haven for my family to stay at during what was an otherwise a stressful moment for us. What a beautiful location and space! Bird songs, trees, and bountiful flowers surround the space, and inside there is amazing light, beautiful artwork (some painted by the host herself and special pieces from other parts of the world), comfortable furniture and lines, and pretty much everything you could possibly need and then some. I could feel the thoughtfulness and love that was poured into the space, and truly felt at home during the stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we are even considering buying the same mattress for home. I had to work throughout our time there, and felt very comfortable in the dedicated work space. Chris was so kind and responsive the whole way through, and just so welcoming. I highly recommend staying at El Nido! Give your nervous system the gift of this peaceful retreat.

Quiet, peaceful neighborhood. Close to beautiful beaches in Santa Cruz and Monterey. the house itself was very well decorated and cozy. Chris had snacks and goodies to welcome us and we felt right at home. would highly recommend!

Chris’s El Nido is the Best Airbnb ever! It is a beautiful tranquil spot with everything you need! There is coffee- snacks-chocolate- breakfast yogurt-etc! A great place for a couple! The cottage is full of gorgeous art! Chris is helpful- thoughtful and available! Hope we can return soon!

Very cute and peaceful little granny annexe on a quiet residential street. Chris, the host, left many snacks and drinks for our arrival, which we took good advantage of. Good base for a small family exploring Santa Cruz and Monterey Bay areas.
