It was an excellent location and such a lovely very quiet and tranquil place to stay. The Beach lodge is a perfect stay, it has all your amenities that you need. Stayed here for our Anniversary weekend with our 7 month Puppy this weekend. Even the weather was kind to us and we spent a couple of days on the beach. And the hosts were lovely and welcoming. I would rate this more than 5* We will be returning.

We only had a very short stay but everything was perfect. Everything was thought of in the accommodation, and you could easily stay there a lot longer. A lovely place to stay if you are in the area.

We loved our stay at Shangri-La. It was the first time we had taken our new puppy away and I was a bit apprehensive. I think there is possibly a difference between hosts that tolerate dogs and hosts that positively welcome them. Sharon falls into the latter category. We were encouraged to let the dog out in the enclosed garden, there was a dog waste bin and biscuits in the house. She made us feel very comfortable despite Conker being only 5 months old. The house itself was spotless and well appointed. It had all the facilities to self cater comfortably if you wanted too. The beach was really close by and the cafes by the beach did great hot chocolate to warm you up after a blustery walk that certainly blew away my cobwebs and left me feeling refreshed and ready to return home. My pup also absolutely loved the sandy beach which stretched out for miles. Would not hesitate to recommend. PS if you look hard you will find a friendly mouse (not a real one!)
