Your whole group will be comfortable in this private, spacious, and unique space nestled on the lower floor of mid-century home. Kitchen and full laundry inside the unit. All utilities paid. Enjoy sunsets and views of downtown Seattle and Mercer Island from this cozy lower cottage blocks from the south shore of Lake Washington. The private entrance digital-lock opens into the dining and living space. There is an alcove bedroom with a sliding barn door. There is a second smaller bedroom with a regular door. Both bedrooms have queen beds. There is a full bath, kitchen, and laundry in the unit.

Stayed for a wonderful month here and loved it. Location is great and very easy parking. Large space with comfortable beds. Beautiful scenery and plants in bloom during stay. Oven wasn’t working, but got a brand new one within a day. John was very responsive and super sweet. Would book here again.
John was a wonderful host. He was very responsive and very friendly. The cottage was exactly as described and has a beautiful view of lake Washington. We stayed in the lower cottage so didn't have access available to the hot tub listed with the upper cottage but when John realized we were going to be there a night that nobody was in the upper cabin he came by and let us know we could use the hot tub which was a really nice surprise. In the cottage John has a welcome binder that included different recommendations for the area which was nice.

it was such a pleasure staying at John's cottage. Amazing location, and super quiet, felt safe enough to walk around at night. John was a great host the amenities were great everything we needed and more!

Safe walkable neighborhood with stunning views of downtown Seattle, Lake Washington, and Mercer Island.
There are four parking spots in front of the unit as well as plenty of street parking. There is a flight of stairs front the street up to the unit. Rainier Beach light rail station is 2 miles away.
