The condo is 1 minute away from Blackstone Rivers Ranch, and just a few minutes from downtown Historic Idaho Springs, Colorado. It takes about 4 minutes to get to the cabin from exit 240 off of I-70. We are also just down the road from Mt. Blue Sky (formerly Mt. Evans), a drive to the peak takes about 30 minutes when the road is open. The condo is located in a small riverfront enclave near other tiny cabins. Please do not book this property if you require a large acreage property with no one else, or other structures around. There are other cabins nearby. And while this unit is private, it is not secluded in the wilderness.

This property is part of a larger property with many cabins. The rest of the property is off limits at all times, as all other condos & cabins have either long or short term tenants living in them. Please do not disturb them. If you are looking for a place in the middle of the forest, that is very private, this is not it - as noted it is on a large property, but there are many other cabins on the property in addition to this one. Always contact us via the AirBnB app for assistance! By booking this listing, your access is for the Cobblestone condo, and not the surrounding units.
While we do receive a lot of snow during the winter, 4WD is not necessary to access the property. It is located on a frontage road, just off of Highway 103, which is maintained by the county. The property itself is well-maintained. It is typically shoveled & plowed promptly during heavy storms, but this can vary by how much and how fast the snow falls. We provide a shovel for each guest at each cabin/condo. We shovel cabin/condo entrances and decks as a courtesy to guests, during their stay, when we are able to get to them. If you require shoveling at a specific time, we can attempt to schedule it in advance, but cannot guarantee a specific time. We do need advance notice. Guests should always be prepared to shovel around their own vehicles in heavy storms.
