We loved our stay at MayanKey! Their host reached out as the reservation came up, and were so helpful not only for the Airbnb but for all things vacation related, truly above and beyond. The house is beautiful, exactly like the photos. I was so pleasantly surprised to find a FULLY stocked kitchen!! Anything I could think of.. they had considered it already. Also appreciate that our bed had a soft pillow and a tempur pedic pillow, so you could choose what you like best. Lots of different spaces to gather and enjoy with loved ones. Hot water and pressure were always on point! Thank you!
Positive 1. House just like the pics 2. Security 3. Walking distance to a cenote Negative 1. House had a weird smell 2. No heated pool (listing said heated pool) 3. Could not get a taxi, the taxi apps were not friendly. Recommend getting a car since the public beach was 20 min away and not enough things to do in Mayakoba.

It is located in a privileged point just 30 minutes from the Cancun International Airport, in the area of greatest growth and added value of Playa del Carmen, in the heart of the Riviera Maya.
Getting around Mayakoba is amazing any way you wish. A morning bike ride to the private cenote or a walk to the beach is all part of the grand experience Mayakoba has to offer. Getting from the Airport is simple, just ask your host to provide you with the best driver options and voila. DONE! If you rent a car, well that is the best way to get around this region. Playa Del Carmen centro is about 15 minutes south of Mayakoba. Tulum another 45 mins south of that.
