The apartment is only minutes away from the Central Market, Ljubljana Castle, the Dragon Bridge, the Cathedral of Saint Nicholas (also known as Ljubljana Cathedral), and the Triple Bridge.
Congress Square (Slo: Kongresni trg), the Central Market and Prešeren Square (Slo: Prešernov trg) are all eventful venues that are in the apartment’s immediate vicinity. Some of the events taking place in those venues are Open Kitchen (every Friday from mid-March until the end of October), concerts, an ice skating rink in Pogačarjev trg, various fairs, exhibitions, outdoor shows etc.
Ljubljana Tourist Information Centre (TIC) is located 100m away from the apartment. TIC offers all the information on day trips, guided tours, excursions, restaurant choices, history-and-art-inspired souvenirs etc.

BicikeLJ is a bicycle-sharing system and a great means of self-service transport with BicikeLJ docking stations located all around Ljubljana. The use is pretty much free of charge (symbolic fee of 1.00€ for a week, and 3.00€ for a year) as long as the bike is returned to one of the docking stations within an hour.
Another form of free public transport within the pedestrian area of the city centre is the electric-powered vehicles Kavalirs (“Gentle Helpers”) which are just a call away.
