I don't even know where to start with this home and host, it was my most impeccable Airbnb stay and experience to date. I am RUNNING back to this house and it's land. Background: 13 women, all Mom's, daughter's and best friends for a weekend in wine country. We pulled up to this home screaming in excitement, it is private, lush, vast, stunning and a treat every corner you turned! We felt like we we were entering a Nancy Meyers movie and the house was the main character. The house did not skip one detail from the leopard rugs, to pink and orange fringe beach towels, luxe wallpaper, cozy bedding, record player, and not to mention Studio 54 where you can sing your little heart out. We truly felt like we were in the house of our dreams, it made our trip that much better. There are so many gathering places around the house with multiple porches, pool deck, large dining room table, and an iconic living room. And to top it off, Marvie was born to host. She couldn't be more accommodating!

This stay was hands down the best airbnb experience I’ve had. I hosted a ladies retreat weekend here and it was exactly what we needed. The house was clean and comfortable. All of the listed amenities were as listed and in working order. I also want to give Marvie, the site manager, a huge shoutout. She was always super responsive and accommodating. Very grateful for an all around amazing weekend away. Would absolutely book again.

Marvie was such a response host and went above and beyond to make sure my group was well cared for and comfortable. She even allowed me to check in 1 hour earlier so I could try and get things set up before my group arrived for my bday! Unfortunately, it was raining most of the weekend, and I decided to heat the pool last minute so we could still try to use it, despite the weather. Marvie was quick in reaching out to the pool person and coordinating for the pool to be heated. She gave me periodic updates about the temp as well so we knew when it would be hot enough to use. The house was gorgeous! Perfect for a large group; very easy to spend time together (the conversation pit was perfect!) and there was enough privacy to accommodate 5 couples and 2 individuals. One thing to note is the that the downstairs sofa room does have a pull out couch, but it's really only big enough for 1 person, although very comfortable. The views, amenities, and overall vibe was everything I wanted!

Our group was very satisfied with our stay, we all wish we were there longer. Marvie is a great communicator and very accommodating. The home is clean, we'll decorated, functional (esp for larger groups), relaxing and fun. The property is breathtaking - almost every room has a beautiful view. We want to come back next year!

As an Airbnb regular- I rarely leave negative reviews. While Marvie/Bruce's home was beautiful, my group and I were at the property to celebrate a Bachelorette party and had no hot water. We let the host know, and while a handyman was sent to help understand what happened, they were unable to resolve the issue. Only the master bathroom got either scalding hot or icy cold and switched frequently. The other 3 bathroom promised were cold and unusable. For a group of 12, this was quite a struggle and violated basic tenant and California health and safety codes of providing consistent, hot water of at least 120 degrees (114192). After escalating- the host offered meaningless compensation for a weekend of not being able to use showers on the property. Airbnb support helped remediate. We also struggled with ants on the property and a hot tub that barely worked. Great property but needs lots of maintenance, host had failed to offer fair compensation, and would avoid booking/with caution.
