Sámara · 整套民居 · 3室0床3.5卫 · 可住7人 · Luxury Jungle House Amazing View
This glamorous house has breathtaking views over jungle and sea. The huge infinity pool is totally private and peaceful. Lush green palms and trees, a gated community, with no neighbours to be seen. Just 15 mins drive from world famous beaches, including Samara - with fabulous restaurants and cafes. Newly renovated, large bedrooms are en-suite with perfect views. Chef’s kitchen is well equipped. The home is filled with charming details and high quality amenities -even a pool table. This magical house is set in the dry jungle of Guanacaste. It has everything required for making the most of the outdoor space and breathtaking views, including a hammock, sofa, sun loungers, dinning table, grill and an unusually large swimming pool. Inside is open plan and spacious. It includes a large, modern, fully equipped chefs kichen. There is an internal dinning area, comfy sofas. Upstairs you will find the pool table. There is a balcony running the full length of the back of the house - perfect for morning coffee and birdwatching, or enjoying the peace and beauty of the sunset colours. The house is located on an unpaved road a 15minutes drive from Samara town and beach. A CAR IS ESSENTIAL and a 4x4 highly recommended. The house is totally unsuitable for small children.
This is a truly magical Air BNB. Deborah's home is completely private - we heard the sounds of the jungle and little else. The indoor-outdoor nature of the space was perfect for getting away from Minnesota winter and experiencing the environment. We took night swims in the gorgeous pool, stared at a panorama of stars, observed howler monkeys, spotted all sorts of birds, and watched long slow sunsets. On our arrival, Deborah rescued us from faulty GPS service and drove us up to the house - talk about going above and beyond! We would go back to Deborah's home in a heartbeat.
Debby's home is exactly as described! You definitely need a 4x4 vehicle, which we had already planned for, to get to and from the home but it is well worth the privacy and view! Being set in the jungle, the local wildlife was evident, but never encroached on the property. Debby was super responsive, kind, gave helpful advice and provided information and expectations even before we knew we might need them. Samara is a great beach town, with lots of delicious restaurants! Would definitely return to this beautiful home if and when we return to Costa Rica!
Deborah’s place was beyond amazing!! The small details of everything including her kindness of having breakfast items for us ready for the following day, and fresh fruit upon arrival, so appreciated! the home is beautifully decorated and with a huge pool overlooking one of the best views, Lisa her caretaker met us there and let us in and know about local food and shopping, such a lovely person, including the cleaning lady who was a huge help to have during our stay, this place is absolutely worth every minute you stay. We hope to visit again soon! Thanks Debby, Lisa and Xina. 😊🙏🏻
We loved Deborah's place! The photos are gorgeous but it still took our breathe away when we saw it. The view and infinity pool are absolutely stunning. Samara is a cute little town with fabulous beaches. Deborah and Lisa were very helpful, flexible and easy to work with. The house was extremely well stocked and they even left some groceries for our arrival. I would definitely come back in a second and highly recommend a stay here. I wish we could have stayed longer! A helpful note is that there is a "treetops" sign at the bottom of the driveway. That confused us when trying to find it for the first time as I do not think it had not been mentioned.
This home truly is a memorable and magical spot in the jungle. We loved our time there. Debby met us when we arrived to show us around. We were somewhat frazzled after a long travel day and she could not have been more gracious. We spent a lot of time in Samara, but our best times were relaxing and stargazing by the pool at night, and hanging out there in the mornings. As others have mentioned the road to Treetops was steep and a bit challenging. Probably didn't need it since it was the dry season, but I was glad we rented a 4x4 vehicle. The only other issue was that the cleaning lady was there for several hours in the morning two of the four days of our stay. She was lovely, but given that the house is very open there was really nowhere to be where we didn't feel like we were in her way. I realize many guests would consider this a plus - the house was immaculate throughout our stay. But we would have preferred more privacy.
The house is set in a private jungle estate. There are wonderful hikes starting from the door step and continuing for km through the virgin dry forest of the estate.
Samara beach is 15mins drive - it is laidback and beautiful. It boasts many, varied restaurants, cafes, soda, and bars. You will always be able to find live music being played somewhere. You can also hire surf boards, kayaks, SUPs, deep sea fishing boats, various off-road vehicles there. There are many, many other activities and tours available - chat to Dave, the house manager, for more information. He will be happy to help organise anything for you. Or just pick his brains.
For a bit more peace, huge Buena Vista beach is another 5minutes further on and you will barely see a soul, but maybe a baby turtle or two being released from the turtle sanctuary.
Carrillo beach is arguable the most beautiful in the world and is 5 minutes from Samara in the other direction.
There are sloths to be found just past Carrillo. And with the macaw rescue centre up the road, sightings of macaws are not unusual by this beach.
A car is essential and a 4x4 recommended. You can hire quads from Samara, which may be a fun alternative. You have the whole house and gardens to yourself. The front driveway can easily fit 3 cars.
