A peaceful place to rest your head with everything you need for a getaway or stopover. A great base for exploring Banks Peninsula and Christchurch. Only 35 minutes from the airport and 1 hour to Akaroa. This simple yet functional one-room cabin has a comfy Queen bed, en-suite with shower, toilet and basin, kitchenette with a kettle, toaster, microwave, tea and coffee and a mini fridge/freezer. The dining table seats two and a heater is provided to keep you cosy. Wildflower cabin is situated next to our farmhouse. The dining table window looks out to the Port Hills. The orchard, berry and vegetable garden surround the cabin on two sides. Cattle and sheep graze the paddocks and hills beyond. The deck with table and chairs overlooks a spacious lawn next to the main house with a native plant border. There is plenty of space for children to run around. A gas bbq is available to use on request. The washing machine at the main house can be used by arrangement. Check in is usually between 3-9pm and check out by 10am but please ask if you want a different time as I can often accommodate you. Please note: this property is not suited for working remotely as the internet connection can be weak.
