Superb location, excellent facilities and great communication. Only gripe is that I booked a second week at £600 cheaper by booking direct with the Ardnamurchan estate rather than through AIRBNB.

The location of the lodge was wonderful, beautiful views from most rooms. The house is poorly equipped, with just enough crockery and cutlery, and minimal dishes and roasting tins. The furnishings are old and dated and lets down what is a beautifully located property. The beach is two minutes away and perfect for swimming and paddle boarding.

A stunning wilderness location with golden eagles flying overhead. The views across the Inner Hebrides are fabulous. The property is very spacious. The village/ ferry/ shop etc are c 25 mins drive away. Unusually in our experience for Airbnb, there was disappointingly little provided, particularly given the isolated location; insufficient loo roll, no cooking oil, salt, pepper etc. I would usually expect to see some books, guides maps etc ie for the place to feel more of a “home from home”. There was a game of Risk (which coincidentally we took anyway), but that was it.

Arriving in heavy rain we found rain dripping into one of the bedrooms through a velux window. It was reported to the owner but the management decided to look at it after we had left. Luckily we had a dry week! On further inspection although clean the property was lacking in basic essentials - with a dishwasher supplied there was only one mug person, 4 teaspoons, hardly any washing up liquid, no salt and pepper or cooking oil. Minimal toilet rolls.The cooker and hob control labelling was worn off so it was a bit of a guessing game figuring out which knob controlled which oven? It would have been helpful to have manuals for the ovens and also some basic instructions for the sauna. Only 2 of the showers were of a good (not great) standard. No puzzles, games or books provided. We all expected much more for the price tag. The location which I guess earns the price charged was amazing with stunning views across the bay of Muck, Eigg and Rum and the Cuillins on Skye in the distance.

beautiful place to stay had everything we needed and the host was very helpful watching dolphins from the kitchen window while eating breakfast was amazing lovely walks on the doorstep local area and people are absolutely lovely shop is very well stocked we stocked up in the supermarket in fort William but we really didn't need to as the shop had everything we could of needed wildlife around the house and surrounding area is absolutely amazing too 🐐🐬🦌🐿🦭🦅
