A lovely peaceful couple of days.

We had a fabulous time in this lovely, cosy apartment. It is part of a row of cottages overlooking the loch out towards the Isle of Bute, and what a view! It changed dramatically with the weather, could sit and watch it all day. There's grassy areas around the cottages to sit out and the village shop and pub are a short stroll away, both very friendly. The cottage is very well equipped and nicely decorated. Morag had left lots of ideas for days out both locally and further afield, which was great because Kames if pretty remote, but we found loads to do in a week no matter what the weather, in fact we wished we'd had longer. Argyll is a stunning region of Scotland and we would highly recommend this accommodation.

We spent a lot of time sitting on the window seat. It was perfect for exploring the local area. We had everything we needed.

Thanks Morag for very smooth arrangements for the short let. Loved the apartment and the local area even tho the wind didn't let up for a moment of our stay! We'll hopefully be back sometime for the kayaking we were hoping to do. Nonetheless had a lovely time walking around Portavadie and relaxing in the spa there and a good meal out at Fyne Raja in the evening. The log burner was a really welcome feature, local shop literally just across the road for supplies and the bed was warm and comfy.

Well equipped property in a fantastic location overlooking the Isle of Bute. Very comfy bed! We stayed for 4 nights and ate in twice. The Kames Hotel is nearby and does food. There are nice walks in the area. Kames Stores shop has everything you need from logs, meat, veg, drink and even Tayto Cheese n’Onion crisps! We would come again. Thank you Morag!
