Karen and Phil’s place was the private getaway we were looking for. This was our 4th stop on our Scotland holiday and it was perfect! Quiet, welcoming, beautiful surroundings and walkable to a great dinner at the Edinbane Inn. Phil met us on arrival and made us feel at home right from the beginning. Simply a relaxing spot to catch our breaths before continuing our Scotland adventure. We loved it and highly recommend this location. We had a car so it was just a short drive to all the sightseeing hot spots. Could have stayed longer!
Wonderful location and was a great base for exploring Isle of Skye. Karen was super helpful and friendly. The grounds around the home were also beautiful! We would come back to stay again in the future. Across the way from Edinbane Lodge for a wonderful dinner!

Most excellent accommodations and superb host. Provided clear consistent communication on all matters. Let us choose amongst available units for the one most to out liking. Quality furnishings, in perfect working order (just make sure not to use the dishwasher pods in the clothes washing machine - haha!) Loverly outdoor space to utilize for anything you can think of to do. Excellent location convenient to everything we wanted to do - down to Portree, up through Trotternish, round to Uig - where ever we needed to get it was very convenient for doing so. So many outstanding restaurants within 15 - 20 minute drive. And Ted. 100-percent would choose this accommodation for any visit to Skye over any other.
This place exceeded our expectations. It was so lovely with a comfy bed and nice shower and all the things we needed while we explored Isle of Skye. The host was so nice and was helpful when we ended up arriving later than planned. There’s a nice little garden you can explore right outside the place or you can sit in the benches or chairs outside to relax. We also got to meet the sweet dog Ted who was so friendly. Would happily stay again.
