Access was really easy, David communicated well with me prior to the visit. We were welcomed with a cream tea and a bottle of fizz in the fridge. Everything we needed was available. Heating was on and milk in the fridge. The accommodation was really comfortable. Whilst parking was not at the property it was only a few yards up the road with ample parking. Could park outside the property to unload car though so no bother. It was a really quiet location but in the middle of the village. Very very happy with our stay.

This is my fourth stay at Hollydene Cottage and I keep on coming back for a reason. The hosts take care of this lovely gem of a little cottage, make me feel at home with extras like a fire place all set and ready to light, milk in the fridge for tea and coffee, a welcome bottle of bubbly and the scones are my favorite treat. Another great stay here. I will be back later in the year.

This cottage is a gem for anyone looking for peace and quiet in the country. What is truly outstanding is the level of hospitality. I arrived to a cottage already warm, a fire made up ready to light and a bottle of red and some nibbles on the table. All I had to do was strike a match and poor a glass and within 10 mins of arrival, I was sitting by a roaring fire admiring the Christmas tree. It was better than a boutique hotel. Everything was so thoughtfully arranged: there are essential toiletries in the bathroom, a very comfy bed, milk in the fridge and coffee for the coffee machine. The kitchen is well equipped and the cottage is tastefully designed, quiet, private and super clean! Bardwell is a lovely village with local pubs serving good food and some nice walks. If you want to visit the coast you are only an hour from Dunwich or Southwold. I absolutely loved my escape to Hollydene cottage. (If you have to work the WIFI is an excellent speed)
