Had a wonderful time at Casa Marano! This is one of the cleanest Air BNBs I’ve been to. The host and her property manager are both very responsive and this location is walkable to all the important places in Cotacachi

We stayed for 3 weeks. It was a wonderful location. It was walking distance from the town and close to the grocery store. Her manager set up transportation for us and was waiting at the condo to give us keys when we arrived. The condo was clean and modern. It had anything we needed. The only negative was the noise from the street (nothing that the owner could control). We loved staying here and would recommend the condo to anyone!!!

The third floor offers a panoramic view of the city and surrounding mountainous landscape. The sun coming up over Mount Imbabura is an outstanding way to start a day, but experiencing the sunset as it sinks beyond Mount Cotacachi from the open upstairs terrace while enjoying a glass of wine, is the highlight of the day. Stay to enjoy the view as the lights come on at the residential communities up the sides of the surrounding mountains. It is a short and comfortable walk to Leather Street for shopping and to enjoy meals at wide variety of available restaurants. Because you are in the heart of the city expect the typical sound of a living breathing city. The local buses (which provide safe and reliable transportation) and cars move day and night, the local dogs play, and you will be greeted with the local singing trash trucks. Expect to enjoy the weather, the hospitality of a loving and caring community, the vast variety of leather goods, and the fantastic views of the landscape.

I had never been to Ecuador so I relied on the description given on Airbnb. The location was excellent, the condo was very clean which is something very important to me and although walking up the steps to the third floor; the view was well worth it. Marylin was very responsive to all inquiries and making sure the condo had all the things to make the stay very comfortable while I was looking for a permanent place. Her property manager, Rafael, was also very helpful in many ways for a newbie to Ecuador!

I recommend Marilyn's place to stay at in Cotacachi, the bed was the most comfortable bed I have slept in since I have been in Ecuador and her place is beautiful, close to downtown (love leather street) I highly recommend this place for long term stays (I have been here over 30 days) Her manager Raphael is topnotch also and will get or help you with anything you need or want to go. Thank you Marilyn and Raphael for a great stay (P.S. I like it so much I decided to move to Cotacachi)
