Lovely views from the terrace over Lake Como. Basic decor inside - double bed, simple small double sofa bed, table and chairs- all in one room with a separate bathroom. Suitable for a couple who are happy to walk 20 mins into Menaggio or 30 mins to the ferry. There is a bus (C10) but it is not that regular and does not run beyond around 8pm. Best thing about Riccardo’s place is the view which is wonderful and Riccardo was a very helpful and responsive host.

We loved staying here! The balcony is perfect and the views are breathtaking. About a 15 min walk into the centre of Menaggio along a footpath / pavement pretty much the whole way. Would really recommend!

A great stay with beautiful views

Had an amazing stay at Riccardo's place, stunning views of the mountains from the porch, very peaceful and quiet. Riccardo was super responsive and helpful with any questions we had - was very easy to find and check in. The apartment was spacious and clean, had a king size bed which was a bonus! It's about 20/25min walk into centre of Menaggio where the restaurants, bars, supermarket and ferry port are - there is a bus stop near the apartment but doesn't run regularly. We hired a moped for couple of days which was a great way to get around and see some nearby towns - Villa balbianello and villa carlotta are worth a visit. Easy to get the ferry to see other towns too, Varenna and Bellaggio are lovely places to explore. There are quite a few hike routes near the apartment and a hidden beach to go swimming (turn left out of the apartment, just before the tunnel entrance there are steps to the right).

Riccardo was so nice and communicative! The location is great, either take a ferry or the C10 bus and walk just a little! Easy to get into, place matches the photos, and the view is impeccable.
