Masseria Santanna is a special experience in an authentic and ancient stone house, and still retains the original characters in which the echoes of the past meet the comforts of the present. It is a hidden place among pastures, olive groves, woods, sheep-tracks and dry stone walls in the Monopoli countryside, a few kilometers from Alberobello. The access road to the Masseria is an ancient dirt track about 500 meters long, bordered by dry stone walls, surrounded by oaks and Mediterranean scrub. The room we use for our guests is located on the first floor. It is a comfortable two-room apartment with a double bedroom and a bedroom with 3 beds and private bathroom. It is a particular accommodation, with thick stone walls and stone floor, which makes it cool in summer and warm in winter. The furniture is simple and essential and recreates the typical accommodations of rural farms.Our guests can enjoy the outdoor area, a large garden immersed in greenery and rich of the typical courtyards, relaxation areas and a swimming pool built in stone and surrounded by dry stone walls, which make the area very private, warm and with a breathtaking view. We make available to our guests the spacious breakfast room converted from the old stable where to cook own meals, and it is also possible to use the outdoor barbecue to grill meat, fish and vegetables.
