It will be a joy to come home from a day at the beach to this quiet spacious apartment. You'll love waking up to the sound of howler monkeys and birds. Enjoy coffee on the front porch while you take in the beautiful gardens. You might spot a troup of howler or capuchin monkeys, or maybe even a sloth. Often you can hear the sound of the ocean. We have dozens of fruit trees and a flock of ducks that roam the property. If you'd like, we are happy to give you a tour of our little farm. The main bedroom has a queen bed and the living room has a twin bed that is also used as a sofa. There is a large bathroom with a shower. The whole apartment is bright and airy with lots of ventilation. The kitchen is large an has new appliances. You can enjoy outdoor living on two separate porches, a small one that extends from the bedroom and a large one at the entryway to the apartment. We have plenty of shelving for your belongings. This is a private second-story apartment located above my living quarters. We are a 20 min. walk to beach. We are a quiet neighborhood and ask guests for no loud noises from the hours of 8pm to 7am. We have 1 dog, 3 cats and ducks.

We very much appreciated Meg’s place. The location was perfect for us - easily accessible to all the places we wanted to go while being tucked away in a jungle environment. We loved being serenaded by howler monkeys every morning! Meg was very communicative and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!
Die Unterkunft hat uns super gefallen. Das Leben direkt im Regenwald mit den Tieren ist einfach toll. Die Wohnung ist doch sehr abgelegen, was toll ist, aber die Straße dorthin ist unbefestigt. Wir sind abends gerne auf dem Balkon gesessen.
De l’accueil au départ, nous avons été accueillis comme des rois ! On se sentait vraiment à la maison dans ce magnifique appartemment. L’endroit est beaucoup plus spacieux que ça en a l’air sur les photos, c’est très agréable. On est vraiment plongé dans la jungle avec tous les animaux et ça fait du bien. Étant un peu éloigné de la mer, je conseille de louer un vélo de montagne car la route est sportive pour arriver à la maison. C’est un endroit magique et c’est clairement un des meilleurs Airbnb qu’on ait eu au Costa Rica ! Merci !

We live in Cocles about 1.5 kms up from the beach in a predominantly Costa Rican neighborhood. We own a total of one acre of property and have planted many fruit trees.
We live in Cocles, 1.5 km from the beach on a dirt road, which is accessible by bike, car, tuk-tuk, just about any mode of transportation. No 4x4 is required.
People get around by foot, bike, car, taxi, local buses, or hitching a ride.
