We had a great time and enjoyed our stay so much! Uli and Lani were very welcoming and attentive! The apartment was extremely spacious and provided everything we needed. We appreciate their hospitality and great conversations and can highly recommend staying at their place!

The house worked well for our short trip to Oahu. The only drawback is, it is not as private as we thought it would be. The rooms adjoin the rest of the upstairs of Lani’s home, so if you’re hoping for a romantic getaway that may not be the appropriate place. Everything else about the stay worked out very well though.

This is an excellent place to stay on Oahu. The accommodations are comfortable and private. The hosts are not only what they should be (proactive and responsive communicators, gracious, timely, etc.) but go above and beyond to be warm and helpful. I really enjoyed getting to know the family, such as over dinners they kindly invited me into. The location is also excellent, assuming you’re renting a car. (Free onsite parking makes this an even better deal). It’s a straightforward drive to classically touristy spots like Waikiki, a short trip to some of the most beautiful and fun beaches on the island, and even walkable to beautiful attractions like koko crater botanical gardens. The neighborhood itself is safe, beautifully landscaped, and great for a leisurely run. Overall, a special stay that captures the best of what short-term rentals with a local host should be.

This place was even better than expected! Spacious, private, lovely, comfortable, had everything I needed and then some. The hosts were beyond thoughtful and just awesome human beings! I would absolutely stay again!

Lani is an exceptional host, her place is very clean and well kept. Lani made me feel right at home, and even gave me a parking space in the driveway, and provided me with beach chair, umbrella and beach towel during my stay. The bed is very comfortable, and there are a lot of windows that lets in the amazing island breeze. The yard is so beautifully maintained, and so relaxing, and the pool is immaculate, and the perfect temperature. The neighborhood is so beautiful and peaceful. With just a short drive down the street, you will see the most beautiful and breathtaking beach and shoreline. Hanauma Bay is right around the corner and it is breathtaking. And the drive down the coast along the ocean is so beautiful!! Not to mention there is everything you need like shopping and eateries just a short 7 minute drive down the road. This is a beautiful area and very safe neighborhood. I will definitely like to stay at Lani’s place on my next trip to Oahu.
