Stayed over new years 2023 and must say It was near perfect , was wonderfully clean when we arrived , all we needed was available in the accommodation and the hot tub was awesome ! about a 20/25 min walk to the closest train station to Glasgow which wasn't bad at all Ann was a Great and responsive host and a lovely person defiantly would recommend !

Lovely stay at the cottage. Private and peaceful. Had the Perfect few days away, hot tub was amazing and the cottage was cozy and felt like home. Thank you for our stay.

Thank you both for being so welcoming. We would recommend your cottage to anyone who loves animals, fresh air and who wants to be close to the City - but not in it. You asked us if the dogs were too noisy for us, and they were not. In fact we found it funny to pick out the different dog voices and match them with the dogs you take on walks. We loved the hot tub. Thank you for making sure it was clean and accessible.

Absolutely perfect! Views are great, hot tub was amazing, Ann and Chris was super. They took care of our doggies for 2 days so we could sight see and the doggies loved it! The gift basket we got when when we checked in was such a cute touch! Wifi was good and kitchen fully equiped. Loved every moment.

Had a lovely stay at The Cottage on the Coltswood Kennels site. Ann and Chris are so laid back and helpful. Ann even ordered me a cafetière from Amazon so I could use my ground coffee. So kind! Yes, it’s a working kennel..and we did go at peak season so dogs barking were what we expected and at times got. Having said that…our three dogs gave them a run for their money so if you love animals and dogs this is the place for you. Just bring some ear plugs in case they have a barker in for a couple of days! We appreciated the walks, I am a keen runner and enjoyed running around the local area and also Drumpellier Park. The hot tub is a winner. Everything was really nice and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Family were able to visit us here too which was appreciated. Everything you need is 5 minutes away in the car. It’s a rural location so you feel you are in the country. We saw dogs, of course, cats, deer and lots of horses. We also got our dogs groomed by Martha who did a terrific job. Ann, Chris and her family work hard at their business and we will definitely come back.
