Perfect accommodation for two. Easy waking distant into Hexham centre. Very clean and comfortable. Nice touch biscuits milk tea and coffee. Added bonus able to park close by. Will certainly be returning. Many thanks

We spent a great few days at Maxines place in Hexham . Cottage is in a great location in old Hexham , lots of characterful buildings and shops. We loved Cilantro, Indian restaurant, just 5 minutes from the cottage, looking out onto the old square, next to the Abbey . Mr Wolf a quirky independent toy shop full of ideas and a great selection of toys for all ages. The cottage was easy to find and ideally located for visiting sites along Hadrians wall . RE , an interesting homeware shop behind the garage in nearby lovely Corbridge, a favourite for us. This time we visited Vindolanda , a great site .The cottage has everything you need and is in a quiet spot considering it is so near the town. Comfortable bed and warm during a cold weekend. Good communication and quick response from Maxine.
