This home sat on a lake with beautiful scenery. The home was clean but had a slight odor to it. May have been from dog or maybe a previous water leak. The pictures are a little deceiving as to room size and layout but that may have just been my misunderstanding. The hosts were super kind and responsive. I would stay here again if I did not have my 83 year old dad with me having to climb stairs. Thank you for your hospitality!

We stayed here for a long weekend with our dog. It was very private and we spent most of each day in the lake! The lake has a very sandy bottom and is great for swimming. This might be our favorite Airbnb that we have stayed at, and it is definitely the first that looked better in reality than in the pictures. John and Jessica were so nice and very responsive! They even messaged us to let us know that we were able to check in early because the place was ready. They have all of the amenities you need to enjoy your stay and overall we felt very at home. We highly recommend this Airbnb.

John and Jessica were responsive, friendly, tried to think of everything, and even left a personalized note. Their home is in a great location, walkable to a couple of restaurants and only a few miles from the state park or the city. The home is exactly as described. They have detailed instructions that are easy to follow and leave few questions. Lake Otsego is an easy lake to navigate by boat and by kayak (we did both). Everyone from the boat rentals, restaurant staff, local shops, and neighbors were beyond helpful and friendly. We had a great couple of days despite challenging weather. To knit pick, there are fans for two of the bedrooms and each floor has ac but the house gets stuffy and could use an extra fan or two on the days ac isn’t needed. The instructions warn not to leave out food. Seriously, nothing can be left out….there is an ant problem and you will spend 10 minutes each morning taking care of them even with food covered. The day bed is not comfortable. We’d stay again!
