Paul was very friendly & accomadating. Always on hand and answered any questions we had quickly. The house was beautiful, very large but also felt very cosy with the fireplace. Its close to facilities shops ect but far away enough it feels very secluded. Beautiful views from all windows. Only thing is if you bring dogs off the lead its on a public footpath so if your dog isnt responsive off the lead it could be an issue. We didnt bring our dog but if we had we wouldnt be able to let him off. Also the track to the house is quiet bumpy not a problem for us but could be for others but you are on a farm so its expected. Other than that perfect stay we didnt want to leave and we would 100% book again.

Lovely cottage in a brilliant location. Located close to lots of beautiful walking trails and easy access to Guisborough for groceries and shopping. There are a lot of comments about the state of the laneway but don't let them put you off, as long as you drive slow it is not a problem at all. Paul was brilliant to deal with and the nightly visits from the owls made everything perfect. Thank you again for everything, we would highly recommend The Old Stables, Bousdale Farm.

Myself and 3 teenagers had a week here. It is a gorgeous house stunning surroundings. The rooms are large, there an ensuite and a family bathroom and extra loo. The kitchen space was large and communal and had everything needed. I highly recommend.

Lovely, peaceful cottage. Amazing views, lots of lovely places to explore from the cottage. Cottage was perfect for me, my family and our dog, hope to visit again.

This property is in a wonderful location for walking and has everything you need. Roseberry Topping is only about a mile and a half away and well worth the walk, albeit it's a bit of a steep climb up the stone path to the top (but if you've come to this part of the world and don't want to do a bit of walking, what's wrong with you?). Our dog loved her morning runs through the fields - there are plenty of routes with no cattle/sheep. Definitely the biggest bargain we've had via AirBnB - my daughter said that the decor in her bedroom felt stylish and French and made her feel special. Great cooker, big fridge, loads of room and very nicely decorated and looked after. There's an optional breakfast pack which provides HUGE amounts of bacon and sausages and a bit of black pudding all from the local butcher + eggs, bread and butter. It's more than worth the money and was fantastic quality (thickest bacon ever). No pub or shop in easy walking distance, but Just Eat and Tesco deliver.
