I booked this in a rush for a weekend trip. The host is okay but I don’t care for her check in process. ID must be provided she copies it and it goes where? In a file? There’s a form you have to fill out upon arrival with a lot of personal information questions that I personally think is not called for. I made a mistake when booking and forgot to add a guest which I ended up having to add and pay extra for which was no problem. The host entered the property while I wasn’t there to drop off a pillow and blanket for the extra guest. Her gesture was nice but the approach was not well. She called me and asked me if she should put it in the house as I wasn’t there I had went in the town and I told her I would call her back because I was busy I didn’t tell her yes but she took the opportunity to enter the house whether I said yes or no. The bathroom could have been a little cleaner. Hot water is the best thing here.

We had a great time. Ms Lucia was welcoming- greeting us, and checking us in. The space had everything we needed, and the view from the outside deck was really nice! Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful views from the upper deck. Generally quite peaceful. Lucia and her daughter were helpful in getting us there. (Just note the directions given are from the highway and not the back roads.) Lucia gave us 2 tangerines when we arrived, which was nice. Very, very secure place. We cooked a lot, and the dishware, utensils, and pots/pans were quite sparse. Much of the kitchenware & appliances were dated, but worked. (The kettle you just have to hold down the button for it to boil water as it doesn't stay down by itself.) Lots of natural light flows in, which I loved, and good cross breezes through the windows/doors. Super powerful fan in the bedroom for some of the warmer nights. (Low setting was more than enough!) TV shuts off on "auto standby," but you just have to turn it on from the back. We had a car, and parking was easy and convenient. Lucia was very responsive to our questions, and I am glad she allowed us to stay at her place! A good place to unwind and connect with nature.

Ms. Lucia is ALWAYS a wonderful host. This was my third stay and it was AMAZING as usual. This time we were treated to Lychee and Pears(avocado) and they were so delicious. I always look forward to the goodies when I arrive. I have so much love and respect for Ms. Lucia and her beautiful Cottage. She is always so generous and heartwarming always makes sure you are having a pleasant time. I implore everyone to treat this place with the utmost respect and you won’t regret it. 10/10 rating!!!
