Ivy Cottage is a great place to stay just 10 minutes out of Grafton, in the countryside. The beautifully restored cottage was comfortable, clean, and had all of the home comforts that you could wish for. Lorraine left home-made cookies to welcome us. Stand at the sink and look out over the alpacas in the paddock beyond. So handy yet so peaceful!

We love staying at this location, it’s quiet, peaceful and picturesque. Having llama’s in the fenced off paddock makes the experience even better. This time we were lucky enough to have a baby llama playing in the paddock. Its marking looked like it had a white head band. Not sure if it was male or female, but I nicknamed it Olivia Newton John because it also had white markings on its legs that looked like leggings. Always 10/10 for us when we stay. The cottage was immaculate from front to back with all needs big and small taken care of. We were more than comfortable and loved all the yesteryear touches. The breakfast provisions were beyond generous and the home baked treats delicious. We really did not want to leave and will definitely be back. Oh, and so quiet!!!
