A great stay at Paul’s cottage when visited friends in the local area. Super shower , soft and huge towels which are always a treat. Everything you could want in the kitchen to prepare meals and a super quiet location.

We really enjoyed our trip. The cottage is small but has everything you need, was very clean and well maintained and it suited two of us and a large dog fine. The surrounding area is farm land, you really are in the middle of no where, very peaceful and beautiful. The phone signal isn’t great and the WiFi can drop out but if you ask the owners, they will help you out. We took our young dog who wasn’t very well socialised due to the pandemic and he was nervous and could bark and growl at the beginning of the holiday. Everyone was really nice about it and very patient with him, something that really helped us out.

We booked at very short notice, but Paul was very quick to reply about questions I had regarding high chairs and if it would be be appropriate for my twin 7 month olds and my 3 year old (it was!) the accommodation is in a wonderful setting we saw hares and deer during our very short overnight visit. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and Paul managed the covid situation extremely well, making us feel very safe. I highly recommend breakfast! The sausages were fab! We had a wonderful flying visit, we highly recommend Strenneth and hope to return one day.
