Lodge 54 is one of our beautiful Scandinavian wood lodges where you can enjoy Galloway's famous dark skies and abundant wildlife from the comfort of your own balcony, whilst also being located close to the picturesque beach at Sandyhills on the Solway Coast in Dumfries and Galloway. All of our Barend Holiday Lodges guests can enjoy our indoor heated swimming pool and sauna, as well as a free 9-hole round of golf at our great local par 3 Craigieknowes golf course. Lodge 54 is a bright and spacious lodge and is the only lodge we have that sleeps up to 8 people in 3 fully separated bedrooms. The lodge benefits from a modern kitchen and a walk in shower as well as a second shower upstairs, making it perfect for large groups. Free WiFi is provided in this lodge and pets are welcome, there is large flat grassy area outside - perfect for kids to run and play! Lodge 54 in more detail… GROUND FLOOR Living & Dining Area The large and comfortable living and dining area is fully equipped for 8 people with a dining table and sofas, Freeview TV, DVD player and Sonos sound bar for TV and music. Kitchen A well-equipped extended kitchen with a gas hob and electric oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster & Nespresso coffee machine. A full range of cooking utensils, crockery, glassware and cutlery is provided. For special occasions, high quality Denby crockery and glassware are available from Reception on request. Double Bedroom One of the two double bedrooms is on the ground floor. Bathroom Bathroom with walk-in shower. A baby bath can be hired free of charge for those with infants. Balcony A large balcony with furniture is accessed through doors in the living area and gives a view of the forest. FIRST FLOOR Double Bedroom A double bed with ensuite shower, toilet and wash basin. Third Bedroom A private room with 4 single beds and patio doors leading to the balcony giving views of Dalbeattie Forest. OUTSIDE There is parking for two vehicles directly outside the lodge.
