Our 450 sq ft retreat, featuring a fireplace, queen bed, and pet-friendly spaces, invites you to create your spring time story. Bring your own gear and let the countryside be your canvas. Stabling options available. Welcome to your 450 square foot cabin retreat. Enjoy the front porch with a small table and chairs for your morning coffee. The Cabin is just across from the main house, which shares the front yard but does have a private back deck. The open concept studio room features a queen size bed that folds down from the wall, and a small bathroom with toilet, sink, and shower. Store your belongings in the entryway closet. Partial kitchen, with microwave. Feel free to bring portable cooking items. You'll have access to a large fridge and freezer to store your groceries. Work comfortably at the spacious desk area, ideal for remote work situations. The cabin also offers a medium-sized deck at the back, complete with a table, chairs, and four stools overlooking the acreage. If you're interested in having an outdoor or indoor fire, ask about purchasing firewood bundles or bring your own. Take in the view of the large pond from the cabin's back deck, and feel free to bring camping chairs for a closer look. Watch geese and ducks during the summer months. Horse lovers have the option to bring their own horses at an additional fee. Access the paddock and barn, complete with an automatic water trough. Remember, you are responsible for your horse's needs. We're delighted to have you at our cozy cabin and hope you enjoy your stay surrounded by the beauty of nature. To ensure a peaceful and enjoyable experience for everyone, we kindly request that motorized recreational vehicles be operated quietly around the housed areas. Great place to wind down after visiting our grandchildren nearby. Kids loved our walk through the property to find the horses. Peaceful and quiet.
Kate’s Cozy Cabin is awesome. I spent the whole time looking out at the gorgeous view of the horse stable and pond, leading up to the forest and a trail you can go explore. We didn’t do anything fun outside, as it was raining the whole time, but that was only lack of time. It was so beautiful that if we’d had time, we’d have gone walking, rain or shine just to experience it. The cabin was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. My honey said he’d rent it and live there if that was an option. We’ll definitely be back in future for another random weekday or excuse to get out again. We loved it!

Had a quick overnight stay at the cabin & enjoyed ourselves! The cabin had everything we needed to feel comfortable: bedding, space heaters, bathroom, fridge, microwave, kitchenware. The floors are beautiful but you maybe want to bring some slippers - I had some but my partner regretted not having his. We were thankful to have the TV & Roku for the evening entertainment, as there was a fireban and the summer sun is still a month or two away. Kate was a lovely host and if we were staying for longer, I would have enjoyed checking out the trails, horses, etc. Hoping we'll be able to book a future stay.

Depending on the season, you can get around via quad, horseback, snowmobile, snowshoes, cross-country skis, or mountain bike. These are all items that would need to be supplied on your own. Bring a kayak, canoo, or other water type vessel to enjoy on the nearby lakes!
