We had a wonderful stay at Wagtail Cottage, which is spacious, clean, well-equipped and pretty. It is on a working farm, with a lovely garden and fabulous views of the surrounding countryside. I was visiting my elderly mum in Market Harborough (where I grew up in the 60s/70s) and Wagtail Cottage was just a few minutes' drive from the pretty town with all its amenities (including the station - just a one-hour train journey to London). Julie was very helpful and friendly.

Wagtail cottage is a lovely open plan barn conversion with a safe and well kept outside space. The host was very responsive and helpful. We enjoyed the beautiful views of the countryside and great local amenities.

Julie, our host was very helpful and responsive. She got back to us quickly to answer any questions and provided helpful answers. The cottage was a great place to stay and very convenient for our visits to Nottingham and Leicester. I would certainly consider going back to stay again should I need to be in the area again. Lovely place, clean and tidy. It would have been beneficial to have a welcome information when we came in, such as taxi services, the local walks and how to use the hot tub / fire as you are in the middle of no where! Something to note would be that if you have a neighbour in the other lodge, it can be a little noisy as the walls are thin. It also would be an idea to add some coasters / placemats - only as we did not want to damage the lovely tables! Overall, a lovely peaceful stay and enjoyable week.

A lovely location, close to Foxton locks and close to Lubenham village with a lovely village pub. A great space, open plan with a welcoming garden with a lovely view of very friendly horses right in the field behind the back garden! Host was great, very attentive. Recommended for a weekend away with a partner or family!
