Perfect Stay for a family gathering - peaceful location. We had a great stay, loads of fun times and lots of walks. Really enjoyed the farm eggs. thanks for an amazing weekend:-)
Very good stay at the Pump house for our student reunion (more than 40 years on!). The accommodation nicely met our need for 5 en suite bedrooms. The location is really peaceful and it was great to hear the dawn chorus followed by the woodpeckers at work in the trees. We had a good supper one evening at the White Lion pub which is a short drive away. Sadly not safe to walk there along what is a very busy road due to the absence of a pavement and street lighting. Eleanor is a great host. Communications were excellent and she sorted out the hiccups relating to missing washing up provisions extremely quickly. “
Eleanor was a great host; we were given plenty of information about how to find the house and get inside plus plenty of other useful tips. Everything was really clear and also communication was very responsive and the hosts seemed quite flexible. The house itself was perfect for our wholesome countryside hen party with everything we could need - so cosy and so much space! The process was extremely easy and the house itself was lovely, would highly recommend to others.
There were 10 of us (5 couples) who stayed here and found the accommodation to be ideal. The location is excellent and the host was very welcoming and communicative throughout. Highly recommended.
The Pump House was spacious, warm and inviting. We were left with plenty of information on how to get there, and the grounds were beautiful. We had a full ten of us, and did not feel cramped in the slightest. Made a very memorable 30th for my Fiancé.

Very early 60s! happily married for 35 years (wow!) to Neil (we host together), mother of 4 (all grown and flown now), and two wonderful grand babies; we love living in the countryside but also enjoy trips to the city for the theatre and friends. Lived in Sydney for 4 years and loved it there too (who wouldn't!). Our globetrotting children told us "you must try Airbnb" so here we are many years later! Our Christian faith is important to us and we try to live a life that shows what we believe. We love people and family and visitors - and of course, our animals. Our son-in-law, Jared, co-hosts with us so we can go off travelling a bit more …
