The cottage was even better than the photos suggest. The location is amazing, just 2 mins walk from the main street in Grassington. Cosy, clean, comfy beds, powerful and hot shower and a very good central heating system which kept the place toasty warm. We were in Yorkshire wild swimming in waterfalls and lakes so the fact we could go back to a warm and cosy cottage was so appreciated. Host was very responsive and personable, even though I think it’s owned by a holiday company. Kitchen well equipped. Lost if blankets and cushions and board games. Make sure to take your own bathroom products, only hand soap provided. Would definitely return.

Loved our stay at Monkey Cottage, spotlessly clean and a great location within walking distance of shops, pubs and walks. Will definitely be back.

such a warm clean friendly welcoming cottage everything you need for a great stay the little added extras were lovely In the centre of Grassington which is a favourite place of mine has great shops and places to eat and most are super dog friendly great walks on the doorstep Well worth a stay

Lovely cottage in a perfect location just a few minutes walk into the main village. Gorgeous walk to Hebden and over the falls too. Cottage was lovely and cosy the only fault was that we had half a roll of toilet paper to last us all weekend and there was no shower gel - so bring your own! Otherwise a lovely stay and easy check in.

Monkey cottage felt like home, was clean, cosy and nicely decorated for the Christmas period. We made use of the log burner which was easy to use and made our evenings relaxing and cosy. Fantastic location at the top of the village, short stroll down to the impressive selection of Grassington’s shops- lovely tearooms, bakery, ice cream shops to name a few. We visited all three village pubs, had fantastic food & drink and there were friendly welcoming staff. Linton falls and the Yorkshire dales national park is on your doorstep at less than a ten minute walk away. We also did the Grassington to Burnsall walk, along the river wharfe, with fabulous views & interesting terrain. (8 mile round trip). All in all an amazing break , fabulous location for walks and surrounding villages& towns nearby, loads to do and see if you fancy. Grassington is a beautiful village with friendly welcoming locals and the cottage was brilliant! Tony& Lesley & Patch
