Situated right in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, guests will find great views of Swaledale reaching out as far as the eye can see. There are many public footpaths and cycle paths that lead right from the heart of the village and out into Swaledale, Wensleydale and nearby Arkengarthdale, and offer magnificent views, unspoilt countryside, river walks and woodland areas that are packed full of natural wildflower meadows, flora, fauna and wildlife. The popular market town of Richmond is only a 15-minute drive away, with its cobbled streets, top-quality restaurants, bistros and coffee shops, as well as antique shops, art galleries and a small cinema.
