We really enjoyed our stay at Rose Cottage. We had everything we needed including a good supply of wood. The place is well equipped, clean, homely and in a lovely location. The kids really enjoyed it, including the bunk beds. It's in a great location to explore the local attractions and also the coast. The veiw of the stars was particularly memorable - just step out the front door and see a dark sky full of stars!
The cottage was quiet and peaceful so if this is what you are looking for this cottage is for you. You would need to have a car to visit place's. We loved our stay here. The beds are really comfy too. Thank you really enjoyed our week.
A lovely old cottage in a unique location. How many holiday stays are in the middle of a roman fort? Ideal position for walks with pub and great cafe nearby. Amazing dark skies for star gazing. Good location for trips to Scottish border towns like Melrose and Jedburgh or Berwick and Northumberland national park villages.
