The lodge was clean and well presented, comfy and cosy. Remote lodge but with easy access (if travelling by car) to plenty of activities for the whole family (including dogs). Host was very friendly and helpful and left a little gift for us. :)

We had a great stay at Alison’s lodge. Allison was great in communicating with us, great directions, we found the lodge straight away. We were lucky enough to see 2 red squirrels on the lane. Such a fab range of dvds which we’re great to watch after a day of exploring. Thank you so much for a lovely peaceful break.

Allison was a very friendly and helpful host, always replied really quickly and offered us help several times! The hut is really sweet and you've got everything you need (including a tv with thousands of dvds:D). We can only recommend staying at her place, the location is incredibly beautiful and even if you're travelling without a car, it's quite easy to get there with the local bus service (except on Sundays) :D We'd love to come back someday!
