Second time staying, and it was ideal for what we needed (visiting family). Newark is a nice place to visit with the tow centre with plenty of pubs/food and shops just a short walk from the cottage. The park directly across the road is great for walkinng the dog. The cottage is small, but well equipped and was very clean.

Just wanted to say a big thank you to Paul & Laura, as we are just back home in Saddleworth having spent 3 days at their place in Newark with our Cockerpoo Lola. It was the perfect location for us as we visited my wife’s brother who lives on Millgate 4 minutes away and we found the house very dog friendly and easy to live in. It was very easy to keep clean and tidy, just as it was when we arrived and having the enclosed back garden and huge dog walking park immediately across the road was perfect.The bed was comfy and the kitchen and bathroom were clean and well equipped as was the lounge. Great location - easy 15 minutes into Newark with a nice walk along the river with pubs along the way. Comfortable home from home - perfect for dogs as fully enclosed garden and lovely park across the road for them to walk.

We stayed for 3 nights to attend a competition at Newark showground. Great central location & easy to find. Walkable into town but convenience store, takeaway all very close by. Great communication from the hosts. Thanks for a very comfortable stay.
