This place is a great location to reach out to Udawalawe National Park - and of course Sandun was helping us to organise a tour in the part that we'll never forget. Though there is no AC, the room temperature was absolute comfortable - also because the location is over 200 m above sealevel. The food the family was preparing for dinner and breakfast was delicious. We'd love to come again.

Our stay at this Airbnb was an immersive journey into Sri Lankan culture! From the moment we arrived, the host family warmly welcomed us and made us feel like part of their own. The meals they prepared were absolutely amazing, offering us a taste of authentic Sri Lankan cuisine. While the room itself was nice, it's worth noting that the open roof design did allow some bugs to make their way in. If you're not comfortable with insects, this might not be the ideal place for you. However, despite our unexpected encounter with a giant spider, the host swiftly came to our rescue, truly embodying the role of super heroes in our eyes! Truly amazing family, they arranged a safari, which we recommend. They helped us when our tuktuk broke down, and went out of their way. Overall, our experience was unforgettable, thanks to the genuine hospitality of our hosts and the opportunity to truly immerse ourselves in Sri Lankan culture. Just be prepared for a few critters along the way!

Sandun and his wife welcomed us although we reached quite late in the evening. They provided free Sri Lankan breakfast full of variety and delicious. They provided additional items that we requested like iron, bowl, wifi. Great place to stay!
