Cancelled booking 15 mins before check in time at 3pm, with check outs at 12pm which left us with no place to stay. Apparently it was a leak, more like over booked and cancelled us!

Hands down the best place we have stayed in over our month we spent in Sri Lanka. Sadly, we stayed only one night but will gladly recommend this place for longer stays! The place is amazing, with quiet surroundings, immersed in jungle. Room is equipped with everything you need, and sparkling clean. The staff is very kind, attentive, and always helpful. The host himself cared for us very much, and is a true expert in running a hospitality business. Highly recommended!

The nature house is located in beautiful surroundings and is very well kept! The room we ended up staying in (different from the one originally booked) had very comfortable beds and a large bathroom. Moreover the dinner buffet offered on the premises was high quality, tasty & a good price! After our accommodation falling through at a different place, we booked a room with Thalik at very short notice. The booking went through no problem , but upon contacting the host we were told that the room we had paid for was not actually available! Instead we were offered a superior Delux room which was very nice (although it was initially unclear whether this would be charged at the original price or not which lead to some stress). In the end it all worked out and we were happy with our stay. The host also helped us organize onward travel to the south coast after check-out and we were able to leave our bags at the hotel whilst on Safari in Udawalawe National park!

Perfect place to stay in Udawalawa. Beautiful accomodation even better than on the pictures. Everything there is really nice and clean. Our room was so nice with a terrace when you can just sit, read a book and enjoy your drinks. Owners were so kind and communicative. We got a welcome fresh juice and also tried a homemade dinner there, what was just perfect (rice and curry, vegetable salat, ice cream). They also offer a safari tours and the host managed a friendly price taxi to Ella for us. We were just sad we couldn’t stay there a little bit longer. Absolutely recommended!
