We had a great stay and the location is beautiful, gorgeous views of the loch. Harry was helpful with a few questions we had on arrival, but it would have been easier if there had been a guest manual with details of how to access the loch etc. A couple of things we felt were in need of improving...Both showers are a bit faulty - it didn't seem possible to change the temperature very easily...the one in the en suite wouldn't change and was pretty hot at all times. The one in the main bathroom is very sensitive -even a tiny change is enough to make it too hot. As a result we didn't let our young kids use it incase they scolded themselves. The fridge door doesn't always close properly, so it was open for quite a while in the evening. There were only 6 forks - which made spaghetti bolognese pretty tricky for 8 of us! The furniture outside was in need of updating or improving. Clean enough, but lots of long dog hair at the edge of the couch.

The place was in really bad condition. The cleanliness was bad, the shape of the chalet was not that great, and there was a hidden charge. After paying for everything, I've been informed. "Kindling and fire starters are an additional £10" If I wish to add it, they can send a payment link out. Which thats supposed to be included to fully use the accommodation. The main room was the filthiest. I have never seen so much dust in a living place. On the wooden shelves, on the wooden whisky display. Dirty, dusty sofa with the crumbs on it. Thick grease on the kitchen hob under iron pan support. Old rusty and greasy microwave that I wasn't happy to use it. Dirty, dusty walls. Old bed sheets with holes and stains. Moulded grout, shower tray in the bathroom,broken shower hose, broken shower mixer that was pouring only boiling water from it. The main door didn't lock from outside. Since a bad review from 2021, nothing has changed. I don't really like to leave bad reviews. Sometimes, I have to.

Wish we could have stayed longer. Simple yet very clean interior and great space outside. Ideal for groups of friends or larger families. Spectacular views, comfortable beds and functional kitchen. We found the extra cost of the hot tub a bit too steep, the only downside really. Oh! And bring your own matches if you want to light the log burner. ;-)
