This house looked like the pictures and was conveniently located to DC, the metro, and buses. We were traveling as 4 adults, 4 kids & and infant and found the space to be just fine overall. This house has 2 rental spaces; an upstairs/main unit and a basement unit. The door that leads to the basement does not have a locking mechanism. 2 different groups rented the basement unit during our stay and each time, someone ventured up the stairs - probably out of curiosity vs malicious intent. For many reasons, we were uncomfortable with this and blocked the door.

This is a great location for accessing the DC sites. It is near a large roadway so we were happy to have brought a night noise machine. 3 bedrooms upstairs but only 1 bathroom made it a little tough for 6 guests, but do-able. It was nice to have access to laundry but the kids found the basement laundry access to be a bit scary. Biggest complaint is the lack of towel hanging options in the bathroom. There are no towel racks at all, so we had to hang them in the rooms and carry them in each time we needed a towel. Also, we used the metro to access all the DC sites. The cost of metro riding, rental car and daily parking garage at Pentagon City parking garage ended up being significant after 6 days. It’s great access, just adds up fast. Overall, I would stay here again but just wanted to bring up a couple thoughts to consider. Our nation’s capital is amazing, great visit!

This place is a steal! The best priced Air BnB and it was the best experience I’ve had with Air BnB! Everything was clean, all the accommodations listed were there. It’s close enough to downtown Arlington and to D.C. for you enjoy all the fun while still being able to return to a nice neighborhood and unwind. Check in and check out we’re at reasonable times and it was a very easy process. There were only about 5 house rules and they were 110% valid, reasonable, and easily followed by all. Anytime I’m back in Arlington I’m booking with Shawn, whether I’m visiting with my friend group of 9 (like this past weekend) or it’s just my boyfriend and I. Thank you Shawn!!

This place was much bigger than we expected which was nice for us to be able to spread out and have our own space while all still being together. Close to plenty of things for us to do and places to go eat dinner at. But my personal most notable thing was that once I had already booked the air bnb and I was told one of our Marine Veterans who was coming to meet us had a service dog that we didn’t know was coming. When I asked if that was okay or if they would need to add any additional charges the reply I received was ‘That is totally fine no worries.’ Phenomenal air bnb, great hosts, would definitely recommend to anyone.
