Beautiful mountaintop studio cabina with ocean views straight from balcony. Enjoy a drink & watch the sunset straight from your balcony for a spectacular mountain and ocean view. The cabina is in such a desired location. Walking distance to the bus stop in Platanillo, q short 12 -15 minutes to Dominical beach, and 30 minutes to Perez Zeledon. The climate is perfection. Not as hot as the beach in Dominical, and not as moist and wet as the climate in Tinamastes! It’s the perfect middle. The cabina is completely private at the corner of the lot. There is another house that I live in at the top of the hill. The property has 3 dogs, 3 cats and two bunnies. During your stay, please note you may come across one of our friendly animals and may be greeted with a lick or a wag of a tail. Sam and Pam, the wild toucans, visit almost daily, along with flocks of bright green parrots. We have spotted howler monkeys and white face monkeys from The cabina. The picture of the howler monkey was one that lived in front of the cabina for weeks!

Great spot, modern, epic views, nice firm mattress meant really good sleeps. High water pressure and hot water. Had an excellent stay here.
Super séjour dans cette cabane qui offre une vue magnifique. Les deux toucans Sam et Pam sont effectivement venus nous rendre visite. Incroyable vue, c'était super !
Danielle fue excelente anfitriona, su amabilidad y cortesía la sentimos desde el primer momento en que nos comunicamos con ella. El apartamento tiene una terraza adonde pudimos observar muchas especies de aves, y disfrutar de un bello atardecer. Nos sentimos muy cómodos y muy bien recibidos, esperamos con ansias volver. Muchas gracias Danielle, por tan bello lugar y su bella hospitalidad.
La pasamos increíble Danielle súper atenta nos dio recomendaciones de que hacer cerca de la zona, como lo que es ir a cataratas y también playas, el lugar es como se ve en las fotos, con una vista demasiado bonita y un ambiente de relajación, se pueden apreciar distintos animales y aves como los tucanes que Danielle menciona

It’s a great Tico neighborhood where you can get a feel for the culture. The town of Platanillo is 12 minutes from the beach, settled atop a mountain with great valley views and a wonderful breeze. Because of the great climate in Platanillo we can plant and grow tons of fruit trees, which we have on the property. For me, Platanillo is a great break from long days at the beach.
We are close to Nauyaca waterfall (8 min) Eco Chontalles Waterfall (30 min) Elysiana waterfall (12 min) and some BEAUTIFUL river spots to spend the day at dipping in different natural pools. Bring a cooler and make a day out of it :)
The cabina is about 100 meters from
Bus stop that goes right to Dominical beach or the other way to Perez. We are also walking distance to two restaurants and two supers (little stores) where you can buy food, cleaning supplies, personal hygiene items etc. You do not need 4x4 to get to the cabina.
