Never thought we’d stay in a caboose overnight, but it was such a fun experience! We had dinner right there at the dining car restaurant and the food was amazing as well! Definitely planning on bringing the kiddos next time around!

This is a wonderful place to stay! Very private, very clean and very comfortable. The quirkiness of staying in a Caboose could have been funky, but the hosts really pull it off in a way that’s charming and fun. The restaurant adds a ton of value, too: on theme, right there within walking distance, good prices, excellent food, and full bar. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. The Mt Shasta/Dunsmuir area is gorgeous with plentiful dining, hiking, and sightseeing opportunities. You may even see a Lemurian! All in all, just book a stay. You can tell your friends you slept in a train car over the weekend and be the center of attention! ;)

Fun and lovely. Enjoyed a beautiful early morning walk around the grounds. Enjoyed a good dinner at the dining car. Live music and friendly service. The train car stay itself was really fun and a novel and new place to stay. I’d book this place again for sure! (Wi-Fi not super reliable)

Awesome Caboose and property. Would highly recommend and location is close to lots of outdoor activities!!!! We will definitely be back.
